Once upon a time there was a man travelling with his cows. He stopped near a village for some water because his cows were thirsty and tired. An 11 year boy was sitting in the courtyard of his hut. When he saw the man and his thirsty cows, he immediately bought a jug full of water for them.

He came to the road and waited for the man to arrive. When the man saw him he thought that the boy is standing there because he wanted something. He asked him, “Do you want something:, the boy replied him, “No! I just brought some water for your cows. I thought that they are thirsty”. The boy gave the water to the cows were satisfied after drinking water.

The man then took out some silver coins and gave him as a reward, but the boy refused to take them and told him “My father works in a farm, he always told me to help others and so I will be rewarded in my afterworld. And its an honour for me that I got a change to help someone.

The man was shocked and amazed after hearing him. He was pleased to see this quality in a young boy. He said some words of encouragement to the boy and left. It had a deep impact on the man’s mind that the man started charity work.

After some time, the man’s charity work got successful. That he was able to open his own charity organization. People from all over the world donated money t him. With this money, the organization helped poor children in education, gave food to needy people and did such other charity works.

It was his organization’s 15 th anniversary, which made him think of that 11 year old boy. He started to look for that boy. Soon, he found the young boy. When he first saw him, he didn’t recognized him that he is that boy. Because the boy was much older and he had also completed his graduation. And he now had a job.

The man told him, he really wanted to pay him back but the boy again refused and repeated those lines. The Man was again so pleased and let him go. But after some years, The man died due to a ear accident. He left a note that said “Whenever I die, give all my money, my property and even my organization to that boy who encouraged me to become kind and helpful”.

When the boy got to know about it, he became so emotional and then he started to look after the organization.

Moral of the Story:
We must be kind with everyone, because a small act of kindness we show will be rewarded by Allah in our future or in our afterworld just like the 11 year young boy’s kindness paid him back when he became older.
