Honeybee is an insect. It has head, abdomen and thorax. It is yellowish black colour. There are many kinds of Honeybees. Some insects are harmful for us but some are useful and honeybees are useful insects. Honeybees wax is used in making candles, soap, lip balms. Honeybees also collect honey from different types of flowers. Honeybees suck the liquid nectar which is present in the flowers by its sting then collect in the hives.

Three types of honeybees involve in making honey for humans; they are workers, the queen and the drones. Workers are common bees which we see around us. They bring nectar from flowers in hive and protect it. The queens function is to lay eggs that wire produce next generation of bees and also guide the other bees. Male bees are called drones. Several drones live in the hives. All bees live on stored honey.

Allah has create the honeybee to produce honey in which benefit and cause for all human beings. Honeybee name is also motioned in Quran Al-Nahl and making of honeybee is gift to human beings. Honey is a food of paradise also mentioned in Quran. Honeybee does Allah and do their job very courageously in the world by making a sweet honey and make our life and world so sweetest.

Bees are said to be Allah’s miracles Surat-un-Nahl 68-69:
“And your Lord inspired the bee; set up hives in the mountains and in the trees, and in what they construct. Then eat of all fruits (and flower),and go along the pathways of your Lord (for making of honey), with precision”

Allah says in Quran: “Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought”. Here Allah asks us to think about honeybees and their working.

Honeybees also teach us to rely Allah alone and stay efficient. The Prophet of Allah also told about the benefit of Honey which is prepared by honeybees. There is a “Shifa” in honey.
