This is a story of a beautiful swan. Once upon a time, there was a little pond where a mother duck was watching over the eggs she had laid. When the eggs cracks three beautiful baby duck were born but the other one was so different from her sisters and brothers. All the animals, including his siblings on the farm teased him for being ugly. So he runs off from his home. After walking so much, he asked a flock of wild ducks for their help but they refused. Then, he finds a home of an old woman but her cat and hen also teased him, so he doesn’t stay with them for long. When winters set in, a farmer rescues the Ugly Duckling, but the farmer’s cat teased him. So again, he flees, and spends the cold winter hiding in a cave until spring. Suddenly One day when he goes to the lake, he sees a beautiful swan swimming in the lake.

He was shocked to see that it was his own reflection that is when he realized, that he is a beautiful swan and that’s why he was different from his siblings. He felt very ashamed.

The Moral of this story is to “Don’t judge a book by its cover”.
