It is the earliest revelation to the Holy Prophetﷺ when he was 40 years old. Just before the sunrise, while on retreat in the cave of Hira, located on mountain Jabal-al-Noor near Mecca, Angel Jibriel appears before the Prophetﷺ and commands him to read. This Ayah holds significant importance as the first revelation of the Holy Quran and it being about education and knowledge. This shows that knowledge is an integral part in a Muslims life.

Our Holy Prophetﷺ said:
“Knowledge is obligatory for both Muslim men and woman”

As believers of Lord, we should prioritize learning over anything. Knowledge is what enables a person to see his purpose in life.
