The aeroplane has a cylindrical body. The front part of the
aeroplane is called the Cockpit where the pilot sits. The aeroplane
is driven by an engine but generally there are two engines for
emergency. The aeroplane has two wings and three wheels. The
wheels help to land. There are seats inside the aeroplane for the
passengers.
Aeroplane was invented by two American brothers Wright
Brothers in 1903 . On December, 17 th 1903 the Wright Brothers
dream of inventing a flying machine had come true. They flew four
times. Orville flew the first time. That flight lasted 12 seconds. It
went 120 feet. Their second and third flights went up about 175
feet. Wilburt flew the fourth flight of the day it went 859 feet it took
59 seconds.
Aeroplane helps people in trade and business by carrying
goods from one place to another. Aeroplane is very useful. When
natural disasters occurs it is used to drop food, clothes, medicines
to the place of occurrence. An aeroplane moves through the air
with the help of its engine. It can take passengers and goods from
one place to another. It has shortened the great distances and save
time.
Aeroplanes have a streamlined body, wings, tail and engines.
Aeroplane are a remarkable invention of the 20th Century. Aeroplanes have some disadvantages also, which is that when it is used to drop
bombs in wars many people, animals & birds get killed.
Buildings, factories, school and hospitals are destroyed. Besides the aeroplane also pollutes the air with the gas. It causes sound
pollution. When it crashes crores of rupees are wasted.
An aeroplane is a types of air transport. Today’s aeroplanes are much more advanced, often made of
light weight composite materials with powerful jet engines.
Aeroplanes of old times did not have many facilities as today’s
aerolanes have. Water bottle, food, luxury seats, luxury washrooms
are available in aeroplanes.
Older aircraft are far less efficient than newer models. They
utilize olders technology. The Wright Brother’s flyer which made
its historic first flight in 1903 was a bi plane with a wooden frame
and Fabric covering. It was powered by a 12-horse power engine
and had a wing span of 12.3 meters. In contrast, modern day
planes are made of light weight materials such as aluminum and
composite materials, and are powered by jet engines or turboprop
engines. Modern planes also have advanced avionics, navigation
systems and safety features that were not present in Wright flyer.
Additionally modern planes are capable of flying at much higher
altitudes and over much longer distance than Wright flyer.
