Sports doesn’t means only the bodily exercise however it also
means to promote mental fitness the concentration level of the
students towards study. There is common saying about the sports
that “A SOUND MIND IN A SOUND BODY” means there should
be a well working mind in a fit body in order t go ahead and get the
success in life. As the health of the mind is essential for getting
healthy all through the life, it is also necessary to have mental and
intellectual fitness to concentrate completely on the target.
Playing sports teaches us high level of confidence and teaches
us discipline which remains us with us the whole life. Motivating
children for the sports and making them interested in the games
should be started at home and school. That way, sports and games become very interesting and can be played by anyone and
anytime.
A healthy mind resides in a healthy body and outdoor sport in
the best fitness option for the people who have no time to go to the
gym to exercise. It is also helping for the people who are mostly
involved in desk jobs and do very less physical movement during work.
Sports also help to fight stress which is very common nowadays in
every field. It cheers you up and lifts your mood, elevating your self
esteem and confidence. It teaches us discipline, value of time and team
spirit which helps us to beat every challenge and achieve success in
life. Sports enhance the overall personality of a person and make him
smart, productive and focused.
With so many advantages and impacts, it is high time that we
realize that importance of sports and games. We need to make sports
mandatory in school. We should give up the attitude of looking at
games period as a break from studies. Students should have both
supervised and unsupervised games classes. It is for creating a
natural corrces in dination towards games while supervised courses
can help us identify the right talent and groom them early.
